Charlie Coull, CEO & Principal Designer
As the Principle Designer of Charlie Coull Design, Charlie describes herself as a communicator that has garnered her the reputation as a team player, excelling in design detail and turn-key installations. Graduating from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts, Charlie then moved to NYC to embrace the lifestyle of a true New Yorker before returning home to study at the International Academy of Design in Toronto. Charlie worked at an award winning Design & Architectural firm in Toronto before founding her own boutique firm based in Ancaster, ON. Charlie’s work has been published in Canadian House & Home, House & Home Kitchen & Bath, House by Design Magazine as well as House & Home TV. She lives in Ancaster, ON with her husband Jeff and their two boys Henry & Wyatt, and pup, Lulu.
Sumati Shah, Office Manager
As Office Manager for Charlie Coull Design, Sumati’s focus is on ensuring all the i’s are dotted & t’s are crossed, while also assisting with project administration. Sumati’s professional career has grown & developed working in the UK & Canada, owner operated & corporate management, administration, bookkeeping; as well as purchasing & procurement for home decor wholesalers & retailers. Sumati enjoys gardening & the great outdoors in & around the beautiful valley town of Dundas, where she lives with her husband & sweet pup Frieda.
Chantel Furtado, Junior Designer
From a young age Chantel would help her dad at his construction business making decisions, like choosing paint colours. Although, a bright pink living room isn’t the most practical suggestion, Chantel’s creativity flourished. Chantel studied Interior Decorating at Sheridan College & has always had a passion for design & the arts. Chantel always surrounds herself with some form of art, whether it’s design, music, or reading. She enjoys performing in Musical Theatre in her spare time, & spending time with her friends, family, & dog, Macy.
