My Design Studio …. where the magic happens, LOL!!
I thought I would take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Charlie, named after a long line of Charles(zzz). Of course my mother will tell you she named me after ‘Charlie’s Angels’ (now you can probably figure out my age, haha).
I run and operate a design firm in Ancaster and service surrounding areas. My company was established a few years ago after leaving a prominent design/architectural firm in Toronto and taking some time to be a full-time mom to our two boys, Henry and Wyatt.
Once my boys felt holding hands and hugging in public was embarrassing I decided it was time to get back at my professional passion, Interior Design.
There are many aspects to this industry that I love. Meeting with clients, getting in their space and finding out how their home functions is one of my fav’s! With that said, this industry isn’t a one-woman shop. It’s all about collaboration, the magic ingredient in the design process, with the end product, a beautifully renovated home, delivered on time and on budget!
My design studio is my ‘happy place’ … filled with work from artists that speak to me.

I love Erin’s “Hyperreal” technique and minimal aesthetic. This particular piece speaks to me and my industry. I grew up in Levis and is my go-to uniform most days, especially onsite with trades reviewing drawings and unboxing pretty tile!

Alanna’s illustration has captured the powerful image of a woman owning her space. Love it!
Currently, The CCD Studio is based in my home. Over the last couple years it has allowed me the flexibility of picking up my boys and has been a life saver over the last year?!! With that said, CCD continues to grow and we’re looking at a new location to help facilitate my team and clients even better than before … always growing!
